A FORMER Adelaide pastor who inspired hundreds of thousands of young Christians with his terminal cancer “battle” has been exposed as a fraud.
According to this article the writer of the song “Healer” which has been a very instrumental song in my journey this summer faked his cancer. I really hope it’s not true, saddens me if it is, but still letting the powerful words from the song penetrate deep into my heart!

Well, as the news travels I can’t help but think about this more. In fact I woke up this morning with this song in my heart and head. It would be easy to want to condemn and discredit the powerful words and song that God has used and will continue to use because of this news. Yes, Mike faked cancer, but now, even more than he ever thought before, these words are going to speak deep into his heart! May God be his and our “Healer” even more today than yesterday. Please join with me praying for him, his family, and others that will be affected by this news.
