Just finished my outline for this weekends talk in the “Big House.”  For some reason this talk has been dificult already.  I am praying that God uses it to draw people close to Him.  Here are the two main sections we are going to talk about:

The Power of Secret Sin

The Power of the Cross

With it being the 4th of July weekend Freedom will be celebrated!  However, real personal freedom can only be given by Christ!  I am praying that people would be freed this weekened from the power of secret sin.

Man I have so much to do and can’t seem to stay focused.  We started a new series this week called The Epistle.  We are teaching through 1, 2, 3 John.  This week we dive into chapter 1, and next week chapter 2 in the Big House.  Everyone needs an outline, so they can put PowerPoint stuff together and I got nothing.  I am still trying to recoup from last weeks awesome time at camp.  Pray for me, I need it!

Today is the first day of VBS at Grace.  This year it is doubly special for me because my 4 year old can participate and many of our students are serving as small group leaders. It is going to be an awesome week!  So excited for Joe and our church!  I just hope the newly weds get some things sorted out! (it the skit the kids will be watching all week)

Right now I am packing for summer camp. We are taking out students to Orange Beach AL. for Wild Week. I hate to pack, but am really excited to hang out with the students and connect with God together. I don’t know if I will have internet connection but we would totally appreciate your prayers.

I will try to post if I can. It’s going to be soooooo rad . . . . can’t wait!!

I have been told that we need new couches in our student center. The ones we have have been repaired several times and are just wearing out. Well, I have found what we want to replace the couches with . . . a couple of Lovesac Sectionals and some smaller LoveSac beanbag chairs. I know, the name doesn’t sound very pleasant but these come with a lifetime warranty, everything is machine washable, it can be designed multiple ways and they are so comfortable. Andy and I were skeptical when we walked into the store at the mall on Sunday, but left saying this is exactly what we need. You can check out their website here!!! Now all we need is to find the money to buy them! Here are some pics!

All of the covers can be changed to several different color options!!! Thats another cool part!! Any thoughts?
