I really was disappointed with the Lost Season opener until I realized we only caught the last hour of the season opener! I must retract my disappointment, after watching the first hour, a lot of things made since again, thank goodness for hulu and ABC Internet TV!!!

LOST – Season Opener
LOST has been our favorite TV show for almost 4 years now. However, I am losing interest in it for a couple of reasons.
- The short season! It’s been almost a year since the last episode and the new episode that aired last night (which I might say was a disappointment). I remember the hype, excitement, and buzz that use to be around in the first 3 seasons, but now, with all the time in between, I think people have gotten interested in other shows that are more consistent and provide the same type of drama, action, and suspense.
- Season Opener! I don’t know when they filmed it, but it didn’t meet my expectation of what it was going to be. Since leaving the Island I think its been hard to adjust to the way the characters who we loved and cheered for, are now depressing and messed up. I did like that we got to see what was going on on the island last night with the others.
It will be interesting what happens next week! Maybe my expectation and excitement were just too high for last night. I am not throwing in the towel but hope it gets better as the season moves along!

Soccer and Chuck E Cheese
We are starting to get back to normal after 2 weeks of high stress. Jackson is recovering well and Josiah is being a good big brother.
Today was a great day for Joe. He had a soccer game in the morning then a Birthday Party this afternoon. He was so excited. You have to understand, this wasn’t just an ordinary Birthday Party, this was Josiah’s girlfriends b-day party and to top it off, it was at Chuck E Cheese. The place was packed and we had a blast!!! Here are some pictures from this afternoon

DVR has spoiled me!
I am sitting in the hotel room watching sports center and there are so many times I want to rewind it but can’t. I even find myself doing that while I am listening to the radio in my Jeep. I’ll hear something and want to rewind it but can’t. I even find myself looking for the rewind button on my radio receiver. Anyone else struggle with that?

iphone – lucky!!
Apple has done it again. The iphone, which just came out about a year ago, will come out with their second generation iphone that will be cheaper and faster. This is a great phone and now it should be even better! I just wish I wouldn’t have bought mine two months ago so I could take advantage of the new features at a cheaper price!!!!
You can read more about it HERE!

American Idol Finale . . . that I missed
Ok, I had to DVR the season finale because we had our last night for small groups tonight (that went awesome by the way)! My wife and I sat down to watch the show and fast forwarded the parts we didn’t care to much for. Then the big moment, Seacrest opens the envelope says and the American Idol is, David . . . and our DVR stopped recording. I had to find out who one American Idol on the internet! Couldn’t even see a video. What a lame way to find out. I am glad that Cook won though.

Gone Country . . . Not!
I was reading Josh’s blog today and hit a link to a Trace Adkins video. I decided to watch the video and as much as I hate country music, the video has an awesome message. You should check it out for yourself!
PS – This doesn’t mean I am going to start listening to country music!
