License Plate

A couple of months ago I realized that I was missing my front License Plate.  At first I thought maybe it fell off, don’t know how, but maybe it could happen, and second, that it was stolen.  A couple of weeks ago when praying a group off at the church, one of our volunteers said that she just had to replace her front license plate because it was stolen.

When I heard this, I told her that I was missing my front plate also.   She went on to tell me that she thought her plate got stolen in our churches parking lot.  For me, this is more than likely the only place it happened because it’s the only place my Jeep sits outside for a long period of time.  So it gave me more of an incentive to replace the license plate incase it was stolen and didn’t just fall off.

On Tuesday I got an e-mail that said people were stealing license plates so they could “pump and run” because gas prices are so high.  When this happens, it is your license plate that is processed.  Unless you filed a police report and replaced your license plates, you get the ticket.

So needless to say, I got new plates yesterday and it only cost me $6.30 cents to do.  I was shocked that it was that cheap, i really figured it would cost more than that.  So if your missing a plate, you might want to replace it!!!

After 48 hours your old plate is voided, when you replace it with a new one. So, nothing yet!
