When I read this passage I cant help but think of this song by CeCe Winans. It really captures the passage!
How do you respond to Jesus and show your gratitude? Today, I encourage you to spend some time with God and thank Him for all the blessings He has given you.
The first time I heard this song was in our church, years back, and it was sung by a senior girl in our church. She had a great voice and a gift of giving a message whenever she sang. We were going through the ‘worship wars’ in that church, you know the ‘praise’ music verses ‘traditional’. That song was so appropriate and I was so proud of Megan for having the guts to stand up and sing it.
But it also tells my story and I love to sing it over and over sometimes when I am alone with God. It is one of my top songs of all times. Thanks for the reminder today. I have so much to thank Him for.
