1 John 1

“This is the message we heard from Jesus^[c] and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. ⁶ So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. ⁷ But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.” v. 5-7 (NLT)

Today you have several choices to make, and the question remains, will you be in the light or in the darkness? Now know that we all try to put on a front and try to look good.  We may be able to fool many people but we can’t fool God.  He knows the condition of our heart and if its desire is to live in the light (publicly and privately) or if it hides in darkness.  Every decision you make forces this reality.

Today, lets choose to walk in the light, so we can begin to step out of darkness (the things we hide and think no-one will find out about I call it secret sin), and live the life Jesus calls us to live.  He is the light of the world and he shines though us illuminating the path for others.
